I’m forever fascinated by technology, inventions and applications.
I think Singapore can be quite innovative in this space - here are some interesting vending machines I’ve walked passed and don’t think they have them yet in Australia.
This one for example is like a ‘mailbox’ where you pay for services such as dry cleaning, paying bills, pick up parcels etc without needing to go to a post office for it. Not sure how it works exactly though there are lockers and things attached.
This one you can buy phone accessories, headphones, charging cables etc from the vending machine directly.
Washbox is super cool. Drop off, pickup and pay for your laundry, dry cleaning etc via a machine. Perfect for busy professionals in Singapore.
Here’s a great one from Starhub, you can pick up your pre-ordered phones from one of their vending machines instead of having to travel far or queue at ther place to get it.
Others
Other interesting vending machines I’ve seen in Singapore include:
- Airport essentials machine inside airport departure (neck pillows, ear plugs, safety wallets etc)
- Fresh bread! At locations where a basic store is not nearby
- $10 mystery prize machine
Have you spotted any other interesting ones?
