On 10/20/16, Uber's first driverless commercial truck just completed its first delivery without a hitch. It successfully delivered 50,000 cans of beer without human intervention for 100 miles of its 120 mile trip. Next time you see a big rig hurtling down the highway past you, don't be alarmed. It's just making a beer run.
Goodbye Uber drivers. It was swell watching you hike up mileage by taking the local way, make racist small talk and passive-aggressively guilt-trip in me giving you a bigger tip.
