Self driving Slippers
We all or atleast many of us know about self-driving cars. But have you heard about self driving Slippers?
Famous automobile manufacturer Nissan came up with this new innovation.
A traditional Japanese guesthouse is setup with self-driving slippers by Nissan that will return to a designated spot once they are used.Guests who arrive at the guesthouse in Hakone, Tokyo, are greeted with a pair of self driving slippers to wear.
After they are removed these slippers will "park" themselves back at the entrance. Each slipper is assembled with 2 small wheels, a tiny motor and sensors. It is using this sensors that they can locate and park themselves in designated area by just the push of a button.
This self driving technology functions in a similar way to the Nissan's battery powered electric vehicle, the Nissan Leaf – which won Best of Innovation at this year's Consumer Electronics Show.
Pretty cool right. Lucky to be living in an age of rapid innovations in technology. I definitely wanna try these for sure.
