What is the meaning of these terms?
- Domain: Domain Name System, or DNS, is the friendly naming system for giving addresses to web servers and web pages. For example "steemit.com" is a domain name.
- Hosting: A web hosting service is a type of Internet hosting service that allows individuals and organizations to make their website accessible via the World Wide Web.
- FTP: The File Transfer Protocol (FTP) is the standard network protocol used for the transfer of computer files between a client and server on a computer network. So you can use programs which like Filezilla to upload files to your server.
Bu terimlerin anlamları nedir?
- Domain: Kısaca domain websitenize erişmek isteyen kullanıcıların ara çubuğuna yazdıkları adrestir. IP adresi de olabilir. Örneğin steemit.com bir domain adresidir.
- Hosting: Website dosyalarını serverlerde barındırma hizmetidir. Bu hizmeti sağlayan firmalar dosyalarınızın barındığı serverleri devamlı açık tutmaktadır.
- FTP: Sizin bilgisayarınızdan, servere erişimi sağlayan bir protokoldür. Filezilla gibi programlar kullanarak bilgisayarınızdaki dosyaları sunucuya aktarabilirsiniz.
