Consumer Electronics Show (CES) has always been the arena of futuristic gadgets and devices and this year was no different. CES 2017, which concludes today, has introduced to the world several jaw dropping, eye-popping and lustful electronics.
Among several companies, trying to get ahold of the attention of the world, Honda was one of the most successful ones. It unveiled a self-balancing motorbike, that can sit, stay and heel, like your loyal dog can.
Technology is really beginning to surprise us know and this bike has some really cool features that will cause you to raise a brow or two. For starters, it can balance itself at lower speeds without using gyroscopes. Here is what it looks like:
Also, another amazing feature is that the bike can automatically follow its owner at low speeds. The bike can also assume a more aerodynamic shape while being ridden at high speeds leading to greater efficiency.
Honda has not stated when exactly the bike will go into production. One promising thing about this unveil is that it does not look like a super futuristic concept that is years away from reaching the masses. The bike looks like the ones already being produced by Honda and a release may not be too far into the future.
Honda also envision a world where our vehicles can talk to each other, creating a network which would allow for safer travel and more efficient travel.
It’s really interesting to see what the future has in store for automobiles as more and more companies are coming up with innovative ideas to make human life more convenient.
