A while ago my P9 Lite caught fire and the battery exploded. The damage was not repairable so I decided to take a peek Inside.
Well there is not much. Let's see.
First we should take a look at the phone itself here are some shots below.
Well from the front it does not look like this guy caught fire. I really looks in a good shape.
FRONT
Let's see it from the back.
BACK
Here comes the bad part :P I am gonna remove the back cover.
BACK COVER REMOVED
FINGER PRINT SENSOR
Let's take a look at the finger print sensor. This is the which helps you unlock your phone using just your finger.
Well its fitted in this plastic cover so some of it was burnt when it caught fire.
FINGER PRINT SENSOR(FRONT)
FINGER PRINT SENSOR(BACK)
The yellow wire that you can see is used to connect the finger print sensor to the motherboard.
Once you remove the finger print sensor you can see the Motherboard.
Then carefully remove the the wire that is connecting the camera to the mother board and unscrew the you can take out the motherboard.
MOTHERBOARD (FRONT)
MOTHERBOARD (BACK)
On the left side you can see CPU and GPU and on the right is your SD card and SIM slot.
You can easily take out the Camera.
FRONT CAMERA(FRONT)
FRONT CAMERA (BACK)
The little wire connects it to the motherboard.
Same is the case with the front camera you can easily take it out.

FRONT CAMERA(BACK)
While I was doing this that black thing on the back cover caught my eye.
Well there was nothing under it but there was some kind of circuit embedded in it. I don't really know it's purpose if someone does let me know in the comments.
Once the motherboard is out your phone looks like this.
That's almost it on the upper side lets go down now. There you can see the secondary motherboard.
Secondary Motherboard (FRONT/BACK)
Here is the wire that connects Secondary Motherboard to Main Motherboard.
Stuff that I was not able to take out (Vibrator and some Sensors)
Vibrator
Some Sensors
Once everything is out this is how your phone looks like.
In the End a group picture.
P.S
I am sorry guys I accidentally threw the speaker in the trash .
