Television sets, or TVs has been in the modern digital lifestyle for quite a while. We moved from SD (Standard Definition) to HD-Ready (720p) to FHD (1080p) to 4K (2160p) to 4K HDR (High Dynamic Range). Some new models are even touting 8K resolutions.
Who are the leaders in manufacturing this piece of electronics for us? Usually Japan (Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba) or Korea ( Samsung, LG).
But lately, China is catching up, and we see some brands becoming more international, like Hisense and TCL.
Whats more, they sell for really cheap (relatively to other major brands).
So besides Hisense and TCL, are there lesser known brands? And will they penetrate the international market ?
