Tesla, from the time of the catastrophe, which occurred in Puerto Rico, in connection with the passage of Hurricane Maria, began to massively install energy magazines that now light up the city.
Tesla boasted about the effects of a large-scale program of delivering energy storage and solar panels to the last summer destroyed by hurricane Maria of Puerto Rico.
In the picture below you can see one of the houses that has been equipped with infrastructure from Tesla. The solar energy collected during the day is collected in Powerpack or Powerwall, and later it is used at night to illuminate the entire house.
Maria has made unimaginable losses to Puerto Rico. The energy and communication network of the country suffered the most. The government is doing its best to rebuild the entire infrastructure, but not only does it lack funds, but also new systems often undergo new failures. The last mighty failure for three days strongly affected hundreds of thousands of islanders, but those who did not have Tesla systems did not feel it at all.
Elon Musk on his Twitter profile wrote that his company keeps supplying electricity to 662 locations on the island and is working intensively on launching hundreds more.
Musk just after the hurricane, Maria allocated from private funds 250,000 dollars to build the first energy stores. Now there are hundreds of them.
In the coming months, Tesla intends to build there dozens / hundreds of solar farms and energy stores, thanks to which a large part of the Puerto Rican community, over 3 million, will be protected by energy, and the country will become one of the most ecological places on the entire planet.
After the hurricane, Puerto Rico was also hampered access to the global network, but such companies as Google or Facebook provided it from the air, namely with the help of special balloons.
