This is a widely used phrase to encourage Kenyans to travel across their country and know their country better. Domestic tourism in Kenya has had many challenges. These range from poor marketing,overprices scenic areas,general lack of knowledge and poor government support.
I personally havent travelled to many areas in Kenya. I get the feeling that i know Kenya but to be honest i don't.
The government spends more time marketing Kenya to foreign nationals to boost tourism earnings yet ignore the indeginous people who they think spend less hemce add no value to the exchequer.i long for the day we shall actualize the phrase tembea Kenya with deeds
