Inhabitants of Cheyyur in Kancheepuram locale woke up to threatening news of hand explosive found almost a sanctuary on Saturday.
As per the police, a kid from Palaiyur town close Cheyyur found the projectile in paddy fields close Selliamman Temple, Palaiyur. Terrified to witness a live explosive, the kid had raced to the town and educated different inhabitants, the police included.
The Cheyyur police raced to the spot and recovered the projectile with the assistance of bomb squad that has been brought from Kancheepuram. Therefore, the bomb squad defused the projectile and covered in a deserted quarry, close to the town.
