8 days ago I made this post where I shared 10 facts and 1 lie, as part of the challenge I was nominated for by
. So now it's time to see who guessed it right. I had some pretty random facts thrown in there which I only realized while writing the ORIGINAL POST.
Let's start:
1.
I used to skip Physics classes with 3 of my friends just when we started high school. We didn't like the professors because he was always yelling. We had Physics two times a week and when we got to the point where our parents got informed about our mischief, we had to show up at the class finally and professor had no idea who we are.
This is true! Now looking back, I'm not proud of it at all, but for some reason we thought we were cool doing this?! Don't skip classes kids! That's all I'm gonna say! :)
2.
I went from Novi Sad to Belgrade to a concert all by myself and the concert ended so late that I missed all the buses and trains to go back home so I had to wait at the bus station from 1am until 4am when the first bus came.
This is true! I originally booked a place in an organized bus transport from Novi Sad to Belgrade, like I always did for the concerts, but the night before the actual concert, I was informed that the bus was cancelled because I was the only one who made a reservation, lol. So I decided to go on a little adventure by myself. It was John Newman's concert by the way and I had a blast.
3.
I have two brothers who are 12 and 13 years older than me.
This is true! My brother B. is 13 years and 6 months older than me and my brother S. is 12 years and 3 months older than me. and
thought this was a lie.
4.
When I was a kid, I went to visit my godparents with my mom and our dog was following us. As we crossed the road, tractor came and our dog ran right in front of it and got ran over.
This is true! (unfortunately) This was probably one of the most traumatic experiences of mine as a child, to watch my pet get run over in front of my eyes. Since we were almost at the front of my godparent's house, my mom just covered my eyes and took me inside. The sad thing is, I don't even remember dog's name, I just remember it was a small, white cutie. ,
and
thought this was a lie.
5.
Once I forgot my school bag and I didn't realize it until I showed up in the school and one girl asked me "Where is your school bag?" in front of everybody. I had to go home and get it.
This is true! I wish I knew what was going on in my head but I honestly have no explanation. I think I was 12 or so when this happened. I went back home to get my school back so I missed first part of my first class that day and when I showed up and walked into the classroom, everyone gave me that "What is wrong with you?" look, even my teacher. :D
6.
Living in Croatia, I had this woman as a neighbor who would drink mulled wine every single day. She always had some prepared for the day and as I used to spend a lot of time at her's, she would give me some wine as well. When my mom found out, she was so angry but I would still go back and drink it. I was 6 years old or so.
This is true! And this is something my mom still talks about and blames this event for my love of wine nowadays (I only drink wine occasionally, just to put it out there). The mulled wine my neighbor had daily was very, very sweet so that's the main reason why I liked the taste. She would pour me a little bit in a cup, few sips maybe and I would drink it. Interesting thing is, when she and her mom moved out of that house, the lady from the fact number 9 moved in. ,
and
thought this was a lie.

My biggest fears are thunderstorms and heights.
This is true! Thunderstorms are something I cannot deal with. My fear sometimes turns into a panic attack. With heights, I have tried to deal with, I went parasailing last year and stuff like that but I'm still not comfortable with it at all. thought this was a lie.
8.
I went to donate blood 3 years ago for the first time and everything went okay until I left the room and walked into the hallway. I suddenly felt very dizzy and couldn't feel my legs. I fainted right there but luckily some people who were waiting helped me. When I sat down and felt a little bit better, I called my dad to come and pick me up. While I was waiting, one nice lady gave me a chocolate bar to eat.
This is a LIE! I never went to donate blood and this entire story was made up. Even when I went to get my blood tested when needed, I never fainted or anything like that. I got the idea for this lie when I saw on TV that some Serbian celebrities went to donate blood so it came to my mind I could use that even though I had a couple more ideas. guessed this was a lie, so congratulations, you won 1 SBD!
9.
When I was a kid my friend picked up flowers that were planted in front of a house of the woman from my street. The woman called the police to complain and told them I did it. The police came to our house to tell my mom I should behave better. When they left my mom whooped my butt as a lesson. Later on she found out it wasn't me, it was my friend.
This is true! This woman was originally from Hungary and let's just say she didn't really liked us, Serbian people. :D She was so obsessed with her flowers along the road, she would maintain them every day and they really did look beautiful. So when my friend picked up the flowers and made a mess, the woman actually called the police and said I did it. I don't know if she told them something else but they did show up and the rest of the story is true. and
thought this was a lie.
10.
First time I watched Titanic at a young age, I thought that Leonardo DiCaprio actually died at the end. I was wondering what's the point of getting all the money if you're going to die anyway? Than someone explained to me what acting is.
This is true! One of my brothers was actually watching the movie and I joined him towards the end, when Jack dies and I felt so sorry for him, that's when I said my thoughts to my brother and he explained to me that it's just acting. I was so happy to find out Jack/Leo was still alive! and
thought this was a lie.
11.
My favorite dog breed is English Bulldog.
This is true! I love, love dogs and I love them all, but English Bulldogs are my favorite. I just love how they have "I'm not interested" or "I'm not amused" look most of the time and they do look funny. I also like their personality. I don't have a dog at the moment, and if I would get one, I would probably adopt a shelter dog rather than buying one because there's so many loving dogs out there looking for home. Adopting an English bulldog would be perfect. and
thought this was a lie.
So that is it, I guess! :D This was one of the best and most fun challenges I joined here on Steemit and if you have your own version of it, leave me a link in the comments. I hope you enjoyed getting to know me a little bit better. Once again, congratulations to
who was the only one to guess my lie!
