According to Russia's Deputy Minister of Finance Alexei Moiseyev, the Ministry of Finance (MinFin) is considering to allow cryptocurrency trading in the Russian Federation. He further reiterated as he was interviewed by Russian news service Interfax on June 21, that no final decision has been made yet.
It seems that Russia may have taken a cautious stance on crypto regulations, the pressure to keep up with the rest of the world is in the offing. No country should want to be left out in this developing blockchain technology especially if they want to be competitive in this fast paced economy.
