We heard you and listened, all $SCRAP used for upgrades in now sent to 
No more sniping!!! This was really annoying and it was being done by some players automating their accounts, intentional or not there is now a system in place that gives you 30 sec's to claim after an attack (to get back to your base) see the error message below a player gets if they still try to attack you!
We also pushed a few fixes to bugs that were just not right from yesterdays upgrade involving the battle system, they are all now active on the wiki here.
Also the way we were checking transactions on hive engine was just plain wrong big thanks to
