Another terror attack, how can we here at steemit help?

Probably the very last thing these familys are thinking about, but is there a way we could some how contribute steem to them?
Put a fund together, and have everyone donate what they can afford?

I can not imagine losing my kids, these familys will need all the help they can get, so if someone here has an idea of how to go about it let me know please.
