This is the very first look at the Tesla Model Y.
I'm watching the Model Y Live Unveiling, and man there are a lot of haters in the comments, literally 4 or 5 hateful comment for every supportive one. I really don't understand why so many people want Tesla and Elon Musk to fail. The whole world is heading towards Climate Change as fast as it possibly can, and there are hardly any companies actually making the huge drastic changes that are required. Tesla is working like crazy to try and electriciify transport as quickly as possible, and everyone just wants to hate 'em. It's so crazy weird.
I made a video yesterday comparing Tesla to cryptocurrency, and I really do think that was an apt analogy.
Elon Musk is pretty good at making huge promises, but it looks like the Model Y should be available next year. So, that's exciting.
It seemed to seat 7 people in 3 rows... which is amazing. It's a bigger hatchback to the Model 3.
