If I say 1 + 1 = 3 that doesn't make sense, and yet that's exactly whats happening here. This also illustrate irrational numbers, how can we have 3 edges remaining and not something "whole"? This requires some sort of mathematical notation where the quantity of 1 is made of 6 components.
