When you did read my intro from yesterday, you may know that I'm on a very long project which is building a house in Thailand.
It's an almost never ending story...A bit of it now:
By our contract they should have finished by the end of May 2017,we signed the contract in Nov.2015
The contractor promised us so many times, but failed all the time,3 times so far, number 4 is not far away(end of June 17)
The famous "PD HOUSE" builder in Thailand.
BE WARNED,I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM AT ALL,IF YOU WANT TO BUILD A HOUSE IN THAILAND.IF YOU DO AND YOU CHOOSE THEM,IT IS AT YOUR OWN RISK,I WARNED YOU.
So what did we do?
Instead of waiting until the house is finished (can't wait for that day),we organized a locally contractor in the meantime to do the front wall and the gate.
Not mucking around, last Saturday, about 6-8 people came and dug some holes for the poles(it's a rhyme, yeah)after measuring it and fabricating the Rio bars for the poles.
Wow they are smashing it and making real good progress.
Due to heavy rain on Sunday, no one came to site.
It's Monsoon season here now,hot and humid and a lot of rain sometimes.
Yesterday they started to do the base,a square of Rio bars in the holes and pour some concrete on top of it.
They dug all along the front side and layed all the Rio bars in it.
They just left a pile of sand and gravel for making the concrete in the middle of the road.
Main pen rai,as the Thais say-no worries mate, she'll be right....
They all can go around,it's not such a busy road
Once again, what an awesome job they have done.
Clearly,I forgot that some Thais can work productive too.I haven't seen it for a long time at our house.
So enough for now, hope you liked-enjoyed it??!!
It gives you a bit of an idea how they work, build, operate here in Thailand.
More to come.
Thanks for reading
