In high school, my Spanish teacher asked us to pick Spanish names. I picked Taco.
Which, of course, isn't a Spanish name for people. It's a Spanish name for food.
But I feel like, if Thai people can pick "English" names like Balloon, then I was in the clear.
Suddenly, everyone knew that my name was Taco. Even outside of Spanish class.
So yes, tacos are important to me.
Sort of fun fact: I was way too innocent in high school to know that Taco had a dirty double meaning, and looking back...I'm thinking...no wonder everyone found out my nickname was Taco 😁.
Nothing dirty about this steem taco, though.
It was consumed with pure love and joy!
