I just want to drop a little note of thanks to everyone who has decided to follow me here on steemit. I am so grateful to all of you for your attention to my channel.
When I first started posting here I wasn't sure how it was going to work out. It was very slow going in the beginning and I was starting to lose hope that I could make any impact. But in just a few months I have more followers than I ever received on my original YouTube channel, which was terminated for "bullying" when I mentioned the activities of David Hogg after the Parkland Shooting.
I was devastated at the sheer lunacy and censorship I saw on YouTube and for a few days I just sat in a daze in shock. Then I remembered James Corbett warning his subscribers about the coming purge on YouTube and his referral to check out steemit.
That's when I took the plunge. It took a few days to get the invitation from the steemit team, but that was just the first hurdle. I had to get used to a new platform and feel my way around. I found out how different everything works here. People are a lot more hesitant to give an upvote if your content does not deserve it. What a refreshing change from simply hitting a thumbs up icon. I found a lot of new people to watch here, as well as people I knew from YouTube.
I'm so glad I took a chance and decided to come to steemit. Thank you everyone for watching!
