In the part 2 of the story, King Schahzaman leaves his vizier in charge of the kingdom and sets off on a journey to his brother's lands. However, he returns to the palace during the night as he forgot something and discovers his wife in bed with a black slave. He kills them both and orders his camp to leave immediately for his brother's city. When he arrives, his brother notices his change in appearance and invites him to go hunting, but King Schahzaman refuses.
Later, while looking out of a window in the palace, King Schahzaman witnesses his brother's wife engaging in sexual activities with multiple male and female slaves. He realizes that his own personal tragedy is much lighter than his brother's, and he resumes eating and drinking without stopping. King Schahzaman's brother becomes curious about his sudden change in demeanor and eventually learns the reason for it.
