Often sullen and sad, though it may be
once flight is taken the awakening
sheds new light despite the captivity
and fully exacts the demand- to fly free.
shivers
The open sky can be terrifying
With no current to support the flight
So far to fall, fear comes prying,
And the mask of need hides truth's might.
What courage, what strength will draw truth out,
To brave the dread unknown?
To spread her wings and pick her route
And make the sky her home.
