New Community. Awesome People.
My recent application to 
Hive account@thealliance was approved and I am now a kid in the playground meeting some awesome Steemians. It turns out I was turtley enough after all.
About a week ago, I was chatting in the playground with fellow Steemian 
Hive account@leathertinker when she told me how her daughter loved my avatar, which was a cool psychedelic looking sugar skull that 
Hive account@calumam made for me. She told me that her daughter loved skulls, skeletons and demons too... I was immediately taken back and remembering how as a child I was thought of as weird and creepy for liking dark and morbid things... I always had a fascination that I had to hide. I thought something was wrong with me. I was very happy to find out that Hive account@leathertinker allows her daughter to express herself and she told me about this 'squishy guts skeleton doll' that she bought for her.
'Squishy guts skeleton doll'???? Shut up and take my money!!
After a quick transaction and quick shopping trip by Hive account@leathertinker, the doll was in the mail. I was so excited! It didn't take long to get here. The package arrived yesterday and I was a very happy girl!!!
As soon as I opened the package, I took everything apart to see all the squishy parts. It displays part of a skeleton and examples of muscular structure... and squishy parts!!! Squishy brains and lungs and kidneys and so much more!!
And when I say squishy, I mean squishy. Some people may think the feel of it is a bit off putting, but it's really funky and fantastic!! I played all afternoon; looking and squeezing and playing with all the squishy parts. It took me forever to put this thing back together and I'm pretty sure the stomach may be where the heart should be.
This is the coolest thing, and Hive account@leathertinker is a kick-ass Steemian who I would like to thank for going out of her way to get this for someone she hardly knows. Kudos to her for allowing her daughter to be who she is and realizing that little obsessions like this are not bad.
I shall call him squishy and he shall be mine, and he shall be my squishy.
