My husband woke me twice this morning, at 5 when he was getting ready for work, saying bye to his wife even when she only greeted him with one eye opened. I totally went back to sleep because, it's Summer break, I have the right to be lazy (yeah as if).
It felt as if I was JUST about to enter the dream land, he woke me up again. He shoved his too bright screen of his mobile phone right in front of my face. I genuinely thought it was related to my witness server. Like I missed a block, something went wrong, or a high SP account beemed me up (lol). Anything related to my witness server.
Nope.
Even better (yeah am trying to be funny here).
Our car was broken into.
Someone tried to steal the car. Ignition totally gone, steering wheel totally wrecked. Nothing we can do.
At 6, where he usually already messaging me from work, instead we welcomed a police officer. FML.
The officer said, a car or two is stolen DAILY in this town, and I was like, shut up. How so. There are ONLY 20k people here. It's a small community, like WTF - but of course, I only said it in my head.
We knocked on a couple doors, in case someone saw something or maybe they have security cams.
Most likely we have to get a new car as our current car is an older car, replacing shit costs more than the car itself.
I have my driving test at the end of the month - need a car. Winter comes in October - can't walk on foot at -40 C. Grocery every other day - bus is not this way. Work 5 days a week, and not to mention should we need to go to doctor, out of the blue. Or whatever. Shite!
Morning headaches are the best, no?
