On February 27, 2020, we watched the play The Mouse Catcher in Vác in a performance by the Veres1 Theater. Direced by András Schlanger It’s an exciting two-act crime, during which we’re uncertain about who the killer is all along. I heard from others how the break was filled with guesswork and I was wondering who would be right. Of course, I had my hint, too, but I couldn’t figure out who the killer was. The play also included unexpected twists and funny sayings.
It was a good performance. We could see great actors and great games. I especially liked the timeless scenery. I love the Veresi company, the actors are good. Next time, I’ll check them out if they’re a guest on a home field or nearby.
It was also a bit of a nostalgic evening, as I last visited this Cultural Center about 28 years ago, when I was in elementary school.
