On New Year's Eve we visited the Circus Princess operetta performance in Kecskemét Theater, This is an operetta by Imre Kálmán, who was a famous Hungarian composer and conductor. A love story set in the world of the circus that runs on two threads. One thread is the story of Princess Fedora, Mr. X and Grand Duke Vladimir, and the other thread is the story of Tony Slukk and Mabel. Overall, I enjoyed the show. We laughed a lot and it was also thought-provoking. Real relaxation. I wasn’t bothered to be “modernized,” but the older age group or those who like tradition might not like it because of it. The set, costumes and the choreography was very good. Everyone was fine in terms of voice and acting, and we could even hear outstanding sounds and sparkling games, but that wasn’t an issue based on the plays we had seen before.
