It is worth subscribing to the newsletter at www.musicalvienna.at, because there are usually sales on certain occasions and thus you can get tickets at a better price (in my case it was a 30% saving). By the way, if you look at the calendar when buying tickets, you will see red, yellow and blue dots. These indicate which day you can use which discount. Red is youth under 16, blue is pensioner over 60, and yellow pays 3 gets 4. There is also a group discount for more than 11 people, please contact them via email. In addition, members of the Bécsi Musicalclub also receive a discount, depending on how long before the selected performance the ticket is purchased. You can no longer enter the Musicalclub this year, because the membership lasts until the end of December every year, but if someone is planning a visit to the theater next year and would like to see another VBW musical, it might be worth it. You have to pay attention, because the discounts are not valid for all price categories. Before you buy a ticket, read the details and calculate what is worth more to you.
