My BEST GIFT This Christmas! by
A large family was having breakfast at a restaurant and it really wasn't going all that well. They sat there at the table with a look of disappointment. Weather the food was not good, they couldn't really afford it or the service was terrible we don't know. What we do know though is that a random stranger paid for this large family's meal without informing them. Wow, what a nice surprise.
The Good News about Art Sessions for Children with Special Needs by
In 2016 's mother and friends started (ABWA) A Brush With Art Program for children with Autisim, down syndrome and other special needs. It all started with six special needs children and a small rented space and has grown into two different centers and ten children. In August of this year they hosted an art show for the parents and any interested public. People wouldn't have known they were looking at art created by special needs children if they didn't have that information.
A Utah deputy rescues an 8-year-old child from a frozen pond on Christmas day. by
Two young boys and a dog were playing down by a pond in Utah. One boy chased his dog out onto the ice and fell into the 37F degree water and the other boy immediately ran for help. Sgt. Aaron Thompson was one of the first to the scene and without any safety gear quickly began punching his way through the ice to get to the boy. Finally he got through the ice and was neck deep in the ice water when he spotted the boy. By the time he got the child out of the water the boy had been in it for roughly 30 minutes. Sgt. Aaron Thompson saved this boy's life and they were both admitted to the hospital.
