In a nail-biting, gut-wrenching display of suspense, we arrive at our winner.
The tally of the final tie-breaker vote:
A PICTURE OF DORIAN GREY - 5 VOTES
TALE OF TWO CITIES - 6 VOTES -- WINNER!!
It was tied until the final hour, when showed up and cast the decisive vote. I love how every vote counted here. It is thanks to all of your participation that we make this book club possible.
With that said, here's the plan.

Our Schedule for August
We will break up the reading into four chunks. The pages vary from edition to edition, so we will use chapters to measure how far we go each week.
note - a Tale of Two Cities is broken up into three "Books", which are more like "Sections".
Week one: We read "Book One", up through the end of "Chapter 6: The Shoemaker"
Week two: Reading the first half of Book Two, up through the end of "Chapter 12: A Companion Picture"
Week three: reading the second half of Book Two, up through the end of "Chapter 24: Drawn to the Loadstone Rock"
Week four: Reading Book Three, up through the very end.

That's it! We are all set to get started. Tomorrow I will post the Week One thread - no reading is required before that. So just stay tuned and make sure to show up for tomorrow when we really start :-)
