Perseverance is a quality rarely seen in modern times. Many people believe success is more about being in the right place at the right time than being persistent. Can anyone blame them? The media is full of advertising slogans that unknowingly give the impression that almost anything you want you can get with a little effort and just making more money. Newspapers continue to publish many stories of sudden successes and good businessmen earning millions immediately after school.
