I understand that everyone is used to me posting clay related things. I miss me doing that too. But the problem was that,it was my misfortune to buy a very cheap and very bad quality clay. I say this from a point where I had always tried to make things work for me and, I have worked with low, low, low standard clay. Apparently, there is another category beyond low, low, low standard. Probably ocean deep standard.
For awhile now, I have always been thinking of incorporating resin in my crafts. I just love the glossy, transparent, professional look resin lends to whatever its used. So I created something that looks like this.
The idea behind this is that, I will have my very own "pond" of swimming fishes inside this box complete with plants. I poured the resin in stages because, I wanted to create the illusion that they are swimming.
It is very frustrating because I am now own day 3 and this is so far is all I have accomplished. But, I am not in a hurry.
Why not UV resin? The thing is, this is the first time that I have ever played with resin. I still have a long, long, long way to go in terms of resin use and, I am going to enjoy my journey.
In case you guys are curious on what I am going to incorporate after this, here are they:
I understand that some of you guys are curious on how I made them. I will make a post on that.
