#thirstythursday

The man known as Hive account@silverd510 has taken to starting and maintaining some hashtags here on steem and that got me thinking. Unfortunately though, after a minute of thinking my brain started smoking and and I got a sharp pain in my noggin so I stopped IMMEDIATELY!! 😂😂

Seriously though, I think I have heard the term thirsty Thursday somewhere, so I'm gonna go with it. Here is how I spent my #thirstythursday

This is how I started the day today.

Half of pot of the black-gold. Damn, I love coffee.

After that it was straight to water.

I had four of these 16oz jars of water today. Not bad but it seems like I should have had more.

That brings us up to about 5 minutes ago.

Now that I'm thinking of it I remember a lot of different drinking related "days" when I lived about a mile from ASU in Tempe, AZ. Being a college town there were many MANY bars in the area all vying for the student dollar.

I was living with my buddy who was a student (I was not) and I remember one evening going to a bar that advertised a "gut-buster" night and it went like this. Beginning at 4pm beers were one cent ($0.01) each, as many as you want of any kind, until someone goes to the bathroom!!

That's right, pee before you go then drink like a maniac until someone spoils the fun! I don't remember who went to the can first but I do remember starting on my fourth beer before someone ruined the fun (or stopped the madness!).
