After HF 19 was implemented, I became more active again in steemit. Back when steem inflation was greatly reduced to give more to post and curation I became disinterested in steemit as I am not a good writer and have difficulty expressing myself. Now with HF19, the playing field became even with all member and was more conducive for everyone.
I have been a member for 10 months now, and this one was my first true post. I got a few SP and hope to gain more. I got tired of traditional social media platform as I think it became difficult to transcend who you really are and became fearful to show the real you. It tends to make you who you are not to fit what others think is the norm and cool. Steemit community I think is more of a true community that tries to bring the best of everyone to showcase what oneself can offer.
