It should work when you add someone in fanbase, you just have to have enough steem power to make it work all the time. If your steem power is low, you have to make bigger % to vote, lower one will not vote. There are also other automation tools I found out recently, you can try them : Hive account@smartsteem and https://steemrewarding.com. I'm testing now all of them including Hive account@steemauto and I will choose later the best for me.
