Hello friends!
The Three Tune Tuesday initiative has been calling to me for over a year. I just didn't know how to curate for it (TBH, I’ll probably miss a thing or two on this post, too). I hope this is understandable, because in my daily work, I curate no less than two hours of music a day, every single day.
I am founder of the Creative Work Hour community. And I’m whom you could call a Flo J, a DJ, who curates music to optimize cognitive flow on a live program where creators are writing, composing, designing, painting, playing music, building, editing, or even dealing with intrusive work 🐿️ that pays the bills.
The CWH curated albums & playlists are the backdrops against which the efforts of Creative Work Hour takes place. It is a live daily community event that, at least for the last 1,300+ sessions, has been held on zoom for the benefit of its familiarity to knowledge workers who join us from five to eight time zones at any given session.
The purpose of hosting this space is that so together we can sustain the creative energy that's required for new works to be born into the world. Any creator's accomplishment is freely celebrated across the community outside constraits of jealously, cliques, or perfectionism.
Creators come together for the sake of The Work and return because we've got something that even I still have a difficult time describing. For now, we’ll just call it the Secret Sauce✨ and say that it beats the hell outta workin’ alone!
I’ll close because it is time the gently bring the creators back from their flow session and hear how they progressed during the hour.
Curious? See what kind of breakthroughs could happen for you in your work or Hive posts by joining us.

A studio recording of today's soundscape by GoGo Penguin to enhance flow during CWH.
The classic rock break-time track to stretch & refill your cuppa.
GoGo Penguin, from The North segment recorded live at Versa Studio 4 (formerly the Old Granada Theatre) in Manchester, UK in February 2024.
One of the many reasons I got a flat in the UK is the music scene. Many of the recording artists' I curate are either European or from the UK. I want to see them live on stage.
So, here's a snap of my first ticket to see GoGo Penguin composers/musicians live, right here in Leeds. It didn't matter that I went alone. I got a pint of Strongbow and spent one-half hour talking to a tuba player. It was great!!
Thanks for reading my take on #ttt and for checking out #cwh. Feel free to visit anytime. We'll be happy to welcome you.
Much love!! 😘
