Back on #TTT to bring you with me on an all new kind of musical adventure! I usually post #thoughtfuldailypost (@Wesphilbin waves the
When a bunch of friends started writing music with AI tools, I was impressed with the quality of the songs and the fun everyone was having. So, I decided to give it a try and write a song. Now, I have had the chance to write, record and perform music for the last quarter century. This makes me possibly one of the biggest music fans you know. So, I have PLENTY of inspiration to draw from my favourite bands, songs that were unwritten in the bands I have played in, books of bad poetry, and a love for learning something new.
Lanfest the Wanfest!
This was the first song I published. It is a tribute to all the people I have known over the years and met along the way who convene in the discord community we started to build way before discord was a thing. The online gamers who have been in it since the 90s and keep showing up decades later to play the latest games together. The voices in my headset every night I can summon with the old incantation and we adventure together despite the miles. Our boots echo down the corridors and it is time to frag again.
The Walls Are Closing In
My second tune is a story about how the walls of the universe are closing in but that is the time time to team up and fight the claustrophobia. To decide to be uncrushable and use the pressure to press ourselves into diamonds.
Another Kirkland in the Drink!
My next song is a New England hardcore ska song about how much our buddy sucks at golf and so do all his friends. The inspiration for the title image is from a picture of all of us golfing but we are transported to a Dropkick Murphy's mosh pit with our clubs ready to GO!
Having real life friends on the chain along with dozens of virtual ones is pretty special. He may not get too much time to contribute content but I think he should be sharing some of his best tunes on @3speak. In the meantime, I should be doing the same and will have him feature my tunes on his channel https://www.youtube.com/@evileddy60 until I can get around to setting myself up.
