Adventures in thrifting income from the pay per pound Goodwill - Day 28.
The problem with going to the Outlet every day is that you have to go about the same time every day. What I mean is that if I go in the afternoon on Friday, I can't really go in the morning on Saturday as the same stuff will still be there.
Much of the bins had the same stuff I saw last night. To combat this, I took part in three "unveilings" where they remove the sheet covering the bins and EVERYONE just goes freaking nuts.
Unfortunately, there wasn't too much in there. But I did find a few things. Check them out.
Today is April 14th and it is day 28. Let's see what I found this Saturday.
An assortment of things today. Including a lid for .
These are Littlest Pet Shop things. This stuff was recently brought to my attention by my wife. She purchased a large lot from someone on Facebook marketplace for $25. We parceled it out and made some sweet bank from it.
So I have kept my eye out for them. The big house sells for about $30 by itself. With the two smaller ones and two figures, this lot should go for around $45-50.
A couple records today. If that Steely Dan one was a first pressing, it would go for over $100 - but it isn't so it won't. I can get $10-15 for each record.
I found a few sealed inks, only recently expired too. These will be an easy sell.
Then an audio book and a blank cassette for a future bundle.
Lastly, a vintage PC game that I had to rescue. It is from 1996.
This is the stuff I am keeping. I really have a lot of lids now.
Some sandpaper, always good to have.
A cabinet lock because I have little kids and my 1 year old loves to get the cans out. Now we can lock it up.
Lastly, sunglasses that go over glasses. I wear glasses and live in the desert, these might come in handy to keep in the car.
The Jillian Michaels DVD aren't big sellers, but I figure it is the time of year people are trying to get in shape for the summer and there was two of them for a little bundle.
The combat kettlebell DVD might be a good seller.
And Adobe Photoshop Elements 4.0 with the key.
I am surprised at how much these sunglass cases are selling for. Anyway, the season for them is coming around again.
Plus a big ass NERF gun. This is a motorized one that I need to test out, but it takes 6 C batteries and I only have 4 on hand. It actually had the batteries in it in the store, and since I was paying by weight I searched the bins for a screwdriver to open the thing up. I ended up finding the tiniest screwdriver ever, but it worked and I got those dead batteries out.
I found these Acurite weather devices during the "feeding frenzy" of the new bins being released. I thought there might be something to them, and so tossed them in my bag. They actually do alright.
I need to test them out, but those white remote looking things sells for over $10 each! I think I can make some good money from all this once I test them and clean them up.
Sales!
ZERO sales! What the heck? I got a ton of stuff listed and many watchers. Oh well, I guess my account didn't win the eBay lottery today and my listings were shown on the last page.
