Last Thursday, I posted about one of my favorite things, birthday clubs at local restaurants. I hope you ended up signing up for some of them. When your birthday rolls around, it will be a great treat! Today I'd like to share with you about my favorite essential oil company.
It seems like everyone is talking about alternative medicine these days through essential oils. Someone falls down at the park and a mom runs to grab her lavender oil. You meet your friend for lunch and realize she smells like a meatball sandwich to find out that she’s rubbed herself with oregano oil. You cough in front of your mom and she whips out the eucalyptus oil to have you apply it to your chest.
When I started hearing about EOs years ago, I started looking into companies and found one online that I liked. This is not to say that I don’t like the large companies or have anything against them, I just choose to get my oils from Plant Therapy.
Plant Therapy encourages you to dilute each oil, don’t ingest any oils and research in a good book written about oils in general. I personally use The Complete Guide to Essential Oils and Aromatherapy by Valerie Ann Worwood. It is a huge book and has a lot of uses and treatments. We rarely use oils, rarely have them diffusing in the house and are rarely sick.
There are many reasons I like Plant Therapy. The main one is their pricing. A lot of their oils are $10 or less. They also have a Kidsafe line with oils that are safe to use on children. They have free shipping, as well as a helpful website and Facebook page. They do blends and packages, and sell some oils prediluted. Check out their information about the quality of their oils.
I am not a representative for Plant Therapy and they are not paying me for this recommendation. I am not a professional, so please consult one if you have any questions about EOs. I am just sharing with you something that has worked for me and my family. Let me know if you check them out!
Thumbs Up Thursday will be brought to you here every Thursday by A Panama Mama.
Check back each week for deals and recommendations.
