Time is a very strange thing. We cannot see it or hear it or feel it. We cannot hold it or stop it or hurry it up. We cannot buy it or steal it. But we can use it, waste it, or give it to someone.

Our whole life is controlled by time. But just what is this "time"? Where can we find it? Where does it come from? Where does it go?
Every man, woman and child in every country on earth has the same amount of time. We call that 24 hours a day. No matter what age or gender or nationality or color or size, no one of us has more time than anyone else. Even if we do not have a watch, our life is full of time. "Be sure you use your time well." We have to; we must, because no day or month or week or hour ever comes back again. When we see them, we see them for the first and last time. So it is most important to use them as best we can.
Even though we cannot capture time or hold it or keep it, we can give it away. In fact, our time is the most personal gift we can give to someone. We can give it by helping other people or just listening to them.
We may resent the fact that our wristwatch is bossing us. But let us not think that by throwing away our watch, we have freed ourselves from tyrant time. NO way! Time is going to be with us every minute until our personal time has run out. No one knows how much time he or she still has left. Or how much time we have left to spend on this world.

Remember: Our eternity depends on how we use our time.
