Ricky Gervais to star in Netflix series David Brent: Life On The RoadNetflix today announced an upcoming Ricky Gervais project. Called David Brent: Life On The Road, the movie is based on the comedian's last UK series, David Brent: Life On The Road, which aired on the BBC in 2006.Like a video diary of Brent's post-mortum existence, the comedy documentary followed Brent as he ran through a series of touring jobs before finding a new life for himself in the Advertising Industry, where he's now an icon. David Brent: Life On The Road will be featured at the SAG Awards on Sunday.
