He is a younger friend. We made music back in the day. Some trippy hard rock stuff. I don't have the energy to haul out the drums but may have a quiet musical session. If not should have a good chat. I'm almost done reading the book he lent called The Silent Language by Edward T. Hall. I will post a little review here when I'm done reading it.
Yea just not in the mood for loud music. For me I just want to be making a very simple drum track and put some simple synths on it. A couple sound effects and some lyrics. Have spent most times just experimenting. Now I want to make something substantial and know it comes from simplicity. Yup, starting to get into the song writing headspace. Getting inspired with ideas and lyrics in my mind. Want to hear a catchy tune that tells me a story.
So now heading off for the rest of todays adventure. Having enough inspiration for a creative streak. Hopefully will last indefinitely into the future. Seems to work that way for me. Start to write some lyrics and make a melody and it grows on you. Just like this blog. Getting used to making more art day by day and writing out my thoughts. Music and lyrics are slowly getting into the routine. The more I do the better it gets and the more I want to write and perform. Music is the best drug
