Yohji Yamamoto

My friend is a huge admirer of Yohji Yamamoto a famous Japanese fashion designer. He wanted to visit the Mainbranch in Tokyo to buy some socks. I was asking him why he wanted to buy socks and he told me that 1 pair was 150 USD in the USA... Must be some socks if they are that expensive!!!

I could not believe that a pair of socks would be worth 150 USD so I bought one pair too. My friend was right the socks feel amazing but I would not pay 150 USD for it. The price in Japan was "only" 27 USD so that I was able to afford. My friend bought 6 pairs at the price of 1 in the US and he was so happy that he bought 2 Shirts too. While I am not a huge fan of Yohji, he has some cool stuff in his shop in Tokyo.

Would you ever spend 150 USD on a pair of socks ???
