Not long after joining the blogging community, albeit I joined to play poker. But playing poker takes time and waiting for the start so I like many others. Began to browse the content and investigate making posts myself.

It was not long before I seen so feckin much is missing from here. Most important a shop. Somewhere to spend. This has been something it seems many have tried but not fully able to make it happen. Games did come along with a few test cases for selling. These tests were generally internet operations. Order online and have delivered. This is a common way of shopping today.

It does not help you at a store though. Well in most cases. Can you go to the store buy a mars bar with your HIVE. When I started you could do nothing with your token, but move it to an exchange and turn it to something else. One of the first posts I made was about creation of a shop. To my novice experience. Too complicated back then it seems. But then I also do not know the barriers of prevention.

That is about to change here in Ireland. Local corner shop will be accepting HIVE for selected products. Tabaco and item such would not be on selected items. The store does not sell alcohol.

A few more details to be worked. Mostly around design of a poster and the making of a slate promotion. The slate will probably have a cost of €40-€50.

Four years in total. From saying it was needed. To going one better (I think and I am never wrong when I am right).
The beginning was more focused on growing the account. Getting some HP built up so I could give rewards. (Lost some focus now I look back.) About three years ago, I began to experiment with different things on the blockchain. Account interactions and possible ways of support from the accounts.

I seen a few things that I felt could be taken advantage of. Some conniving insight might be how I found these thigs easy to see. In the beginning determined to find a way to reach a 0.02c reward on a post. I got family and friends to sign up for accounts so I could use the delegated power to vote to my posts and get a 0.02c reward. Through this I accumulated over 200 power. At the same time I got introduced to basic income. I was getting my reward now. Playing poker had a big roll to play in my growth at the start.

Trying to take advantage of opportunity knocking. A local corner shop has agreed to exchange HIVE/HBD preferably HBD because of the firmer stability for goods. I have been planting seeds about this in his head for abut two years.

I will have to undertake some chores in this to begin at least. I have put aside a few hours on Sundays to be at the shop. At these set times people can exchange their HIVE/HBD. The store owner does not even own his own computer. But he does have a smart phone ;) That's for further down the line, Organising a tablet or something for the shop.

Right now I will undertake the task and begin showing some growth to the account made for the shop.

The creation of new accounts to the Hive blockchain is the objective and getting a group of people in the same local area. People who see each other everyday and not having to wait for a meet up.

This is a hurdle I would need and like help with. So tagging up coming.

Hive account@blocktrades This is the reason I showed interest in your site and the ability to have some personal trust in the site. (compared to other sites I also know some history about.) I also want to hit you for a small delegation.

Personally I would like it to be a combination of delegations from as many as possible to reach about 40K in total HP, more would be better.

So how do I decide who to try hit up for a delegation. This is not a project big enough at these stages to do a proposal for funds. So I decided to take a different approach. I am going to tag the top 21 witness. Those whom would have the interest of the chain at heart according to the vote they have.

Should something like this grow in a local area and spread to other areas. Migrate to other countries be good for the blockchain. If they agreed together or some personally. The reach of the delegation request here should be easy to reach.

10K has been delegated. (I need to add another 50 HP). Any additional support to the delegation will mean I will the % vote to 8% on other posts made by accounts I manage. This would reduce the value gained per vote by more than a delegation provides with 40K delegation in the account. Currently it does follow my @Buzzbee trail. The 10K has only been added today. I have not yet advertised this in the shop. Posters to be made. Wish me luck on those.

Duration of a delegation I cannot determine or even if one would be needed. Much hinges on the ability to get a few involved. Once they learn, they will teach others. The two teach two thing.

The HP would be used to reward comments to a post made by Hive account@tommys.shop and solely used for this. 50% of the reward would be powered up to the account and the rest liquid. This liquid is what they would exchange and build their own account.

I have Create Account tokens to make around 100 accounts easy. Delegating to them not so easy. I do have a few hundred HIVE left over to begin.

With 40K HP or more in the account the shop can become self sustainable much quicker. The biggest cost to this is delegation. This amount will keep growing over the initial start. It will diminish as the project grows. Even with additional users of the service. This will happen naturally as the new accounts begin to grow.

Growth of new accounts is determined by their interactions on the chain. Tommys shop just shows the door. Once they comment and get the reward they will look if they can comment elsewhere to. Some will blog Some might use what they get to play games.
