When I was younger, I didn't know who she was until I saw this video when I was 10. When I saw those eyes I was glued to the TV
She was on BET every so often I believe she was up there with Mary J Blige
But when I got older and realize what the song really meant (after I understood the concept of emotions) I realize I don't see this anymore in the world I live in.
However she sent too many mix signals in her song
On one hand she wanted someone, then on the other she don't
Next thing I know someone is mistreating her, this was around the time when this happened
So it was like a battle of who had it bad
Then she her man die in the video, which I caught on to when I got older.
Then her sister comes out (which I didn't even know she even had sisters). I'm sure she is a good singer. But in my opinion
