Jewish Torah translation of old testament

I have been told that the "Old Testament" is a translation of the Jewish Torah.

I need to know if that was accurate.

I have also heard other names for other Jewish books.

Can anyone name the other books, in addition to Torah?

This is more than a simple question, this is also research. I could have googled this, but I need persons to answer this, not machines.
