I've had the opportunity to have a long weekend but tomorrow I'm back to the reality of the daily commute to my job. I get the opportunity to drive the biggest parking lot of the world. Is this in Los Angeles? NOPE! London, England? Sorry, try again! It's going into Toronto!
Most people would not think that Toronto would have such large highways attached to it but the current stats show that over 500,000 people go into the city from the surrounding areas. That number is set to increase drastically due to Toronto houses selling easily over the one million mark.
This leaves two choices, buy a tiny condo inside the city or buy in the cities outside of the city to get that backyard and commute in.
I'm just lucky that I don't work in the downtown core as my daily commute would be even longer. When I first started going into my workplace, it took 45 mins each way and now it takes 2 hours each way and I have not changed locations at all in that time.
That's what you have to do I guess in order to get the backyard ๐กand the dog๐ถ๐ถ๐ถ ๐ถ . It's a sacrifice I have to make but I see it as a meaningful one.
