I like your section about understanding grief and how long it takes to get over someone. I will have this soon with my father who is old and approaching death but I had it lately with my dog of 9 years who was with me through the birth of my two kids and moving into a home and 8 months later I can't shake it off. It's weird. It's not bad but its there.
