I saw The Human Experiment documentary and The True Cost documentary. The Human Cost docu talked about the widespread use of toxic chemicals in household items, cosmetics, industry, plastics etc. The True Cost docu talked about the fashion industry and how it is the second biggest polluter, the biggest being the oil and gas industry.
I knew some of this before about how there are tiny bits of plastic found all over the world as well of giant whirlpools of plastic swirling in the ocean. I have seen the mining industry in Canada breach tailings ponds releasing millions of tonnes of deadly poisons into pristine rivers. It causes major ecocide and severe health, mental and reproductive problems in people.
It seems rather horrific being slowly poisoned by unnecessary additives in products and insane dumping of chemicals by industry. In the true cost documentary companies in poor countries let them dump chemicals directly into the river and groundwater!! Causing many cancers and deformities in the population. Children born severely handicapped. Just so consumers can buy clothing more cheaply. It's fucking disgusting.
In the human experiment show they get into how cancerous chemicals get fed directly into the blood stream via intravenous plastic tubes. Cancer is skyrocketing in society. All the fine dusts from plastics are falling off the products and entering our system. People are being born with foreign chemicals all ready in their body.
Disturbing and real stuff. I will write some more blogs on this. Get into the specific chemicals and solutions for their ban.
