Last summer we went to Bozcaada, known as Tenedos in history, a wonderful island of Turkey on Aegean Sea. I will try to describe back streets of this beautiful island.
First of all, I wanna give some info about island. From Geyikli Port in Çanakkale you can use ferry to go to island. But, especially in summer time you must ready to wait for a long time to reach to ferry.
On the island you can camp or choose a boutique hotel. If you wanna go to west side of island that has beautiful beaches (Ayazma, for example) you will need a car.
But, don’t be sorry if you don’t have a car. You have a chance to see beautiful, cute and colorful streets.
All the doors, windows and walls are so cute. Red, blue, purple etc. whole colors of chart.
And of course, cats... There are lots of cats, on streets, in houses/restaurants etc. They all like Garfield as cartoon. So fat, so slouchy, and so hairy...
For example, I took several photos of this cat, while doesn’t any move.
When you walk around the island, you can move only 5 steps for a minute. Becouse, you can’t walk without taking photos, entering art galleries, some other boutiques.
Ofcourse thess are not all. Wine houses, bazaars, homemade jar... You must go and must experience this haven...
