Sectigim sarki Baris Manco'nun parcalarindan birisiydi.

Bu yaziyi ingilizce ye cevirip diger vatandaslar da ögrensin Baris Manco nasil biriydi ve bizleri nasil etkiledi.
Baris Manco 1989 senesinde Fransada televizyonda konuk olmustu Baris Manco ve oradaki önyargili fransiz spiker Türkleri Barbar gibi vahsi halk olarak gördügünü cirkince belirtdi. Buna cevap olarak Baris Manco ona sordu... Yaninda kagit paran varmi?

Böyle devam eder, biz Türkler paralarimizin üzerine Sairlerimizi, Düsünürlerimizi, Baris ideolojisini temsil edenlerle basdiririz cünkü Baris, Kibarlik ve Medeniyet sembolerini yanimizda tasimayi tercih ederiz.
Ama asil siz Fransizlar vahsi ve barbar oldugunuz icin savas Adamlarinizi paralariniza basdirmissiniz diyerek bir muthis cevap sergiler. Sonra canli yayin kesilir, fransiz spiker sovdan alinir ve yerine baskasi gelir. O da Baris Manco ve Türklerden özür diler ve yayina devam ederler.
bana gecende sormustu, senin en sevdigin yani favori sarkicin kim diye. Öyle birisine takintiligim yok dedim ama madem bir cevap bekliyorsun. Baris Manco olsun dedim. Niye mi, cünkü sarkilarin sözleri egitici. Hem cocuklar icin hemde yetiskinler icin 7 den 77'e kadar hersey var. Sevgi ve Baris dolu bir yasam tarzini yaptigi programlarinda, sarkilarinda belli oluyor. Istanbul Moda' taraflarinda evini müze haline cevirmisler bende ziyaret ettim. Adam dünya'yi resmen komple turlamis. Görmedigi yer kalmamis. Evi'de cok huzurlu ve sirin bir yerdi. Büyük bir lüks villa'ya gerek duymamis. Rahat ve mütevazi kalmis.Evin icinden 2014 senesinde cektigim bir resim:
Okurken bir parcasini dinleme dilegini kircak degilim ;) Bende Arkadasim Esek sarkisini sectim. Kisa vadelik Bremen'de yasadigim icin bunu uygun gördüm. Cünkü vidyo da 7-77 programinda Bremendeki müzikacilardan bahsediyor. Uzun hikayeyi kisa kesmek icin: Bir Tavuk, bir kedi, bir köpek ve bir Esek hepsi birbirini bulmus sahibleri onlari terk edince. Birgün bir hirsizi önemli birsey calarken görmüsler ve ciyak ciyak angirmislar ve sesi duyuyan millet kosmus. Hirsizlar yakalanmis. Ondan beri onlarin heykeleri Bremenenin merkezinde duruyor. Esegin iki altin kapli bacaklarina elinle sürtünce, derler ki, zenginlik ve mutluluk sicrarmis :)
Birde extra olarak kendi kendime piyanoyu ögretirken bu sarkiyi calmasini ögrenmeye calismistim. Bircogunu unutmusum ama en azindan birazi kalmis :) Kücük bir resim sergisinde bir piyano buldum ve arkadasim esek melodisini calmaya calistim diyelim :D

Today's post deals with Baris Manco and is also the topic of the second contest.
I would like to share a little story that happened during a french television program in 1989 where Baris Manco was interviewed by a french speaker who was prejudiced and mentioned turkish people are brutal and are like barbarian.
So, during the live show Baris Manco asked him if he has some bank notes with him. The speaker said yes , put some out and asked yes, what for?
Baris Manco asked him, who are these person's on your bills?
The speaker startet to say this General from here, and the commander from there and continued with some Admirals.
Then Baris took out turkish money and showed and explained like this:

- Mehmet Akif ersoy, Poet
- Mevlana, Philosopher
- Fatih Sultan Mehmet, symbolizing justice
- and Atatürk, the one who said "peace at home, peace in the world"
( The other turkish bills at that time included the famous architect Koca Sinan and another was the gate of an university)
He continued saying, we turkish people printed our poets, thinkers and peace ideologists on our daily used bank notes as we are a civilized, peaceful and polite folk living in harmony.
But you french people are brutal and savage choosing war men on the back side of your bills.
After that great answer the live show was interrupted and they changed the presenter and the new one excused in the name of him from Baris Manco and turkish people.
So,
when you last time asked me who is my favorite singer. I had no specific one but if I had to choose it would be Baris Manco.Why? Because he educates with his lyrics. He made tv shows (7-77 years) and songs for everyone. In his works you can feel and see his peaceful and lovely attitude towards life.When I visited his house in Istanbul which is now open as a museum I felt the serenity at this sweet house (which wasnt a huge luxurios villa). We saw a lot of memories from all the places he visited around the world. He was the one who visited the most places outside turkey as a turkish citizen probably.

So, as you wished to listen meanwhile to a song from him I have chosen "arkadasim Essek" (my friend the donkey) which he performed in Bremen ( where I actually live for a short period). Actually it is a part of the turkish tv program for children and adults called 7-77 . First he starts to tell about the "Bremer Stadtmusikanten" which is a story about a chicken, a cat , a dog and a donkey . Long story short: They came together after getting abanndoned from their owners and started to sing. One day they saw thiefs in action and startet to shout and as it was very loud the thiefs paniked and couldnt steal. Since then, a statue in Bremen of those 4 animals is in the center of Bremen. The two legs of the donkey is in gold and they say you get lucky and rich when you rub this golden legs :)
And below me trying to play the same melody on piano during a small art gallery :D My knowledge of playing piano is just from some youtube videos. So, you will listen once and never again :D
