I want to learn to trade. It doesn’t have to be crypto, but hey, I’m interested in crypto, so why not. I am a long term hodler and believer, that the decentralized financial world will thrive, but I am also already in my 40ties and like to learn a new skill which hopefully gives a little extra pocket money.
I work fulltime, so I will start with swing trading. I like a simple system, and first looked into just trading the EMA, 9,21,55, with RSI to complement it. But I decided to buy a system, as it also shows when to enter or get out. I bought an indicator trendmaster pro, Here is the system and the website: https://docs.trendmaster.io/
I bought the pro to have bots that scan the market and signal possible entries. Also to learn from the discord conversations with others.
It also has an ema indicator and helps in getting in and out of trades. It works according to the makers and back testers best with 4h or higher.
I will post for myself a logbook, to learn from my mistakes.
First trade: indicator was positive for EOS/ USD triple AAA meaning several indicators gave a sign. Other alts were already popping, so I took the trade. Limit order of 30 Eos of 3.09. Stop loss it 3.01
I got stopped out at a wick, Eos went up afterwards with 5%
Learning: put stop loss lower in this case. All signs were bullish.
I re entered the trade at 3.22, it has gone lower after 1 day, but i do not see a reversal of bullishness yet, but realize I should not have entered the trade again just to enter, as the position has become worse. In any case, I trade with about 50 dollars to learn, and not a dummy account, it isn’t much for me, but still will make it real.
